ELM Group welcomes new developments to management portfolio

Two new developments are being welcomed by ELM Group as part of an agreement with Beechcroft Developments to provide estate management services

We are delighted to announce the addition of two new developments to our management portfolio as we go into the second half of 2025.

These developments are a welcome addition to our portfolio of over 4800 units across 151 managed developments across England, and they have been allocated as part of our longstanding relationship with Beechcroft Developments for which we already manage 30 estates across the country.

The first development to be taken on is Abbey Mill Place, located in the medieval town of Bishops Waltham. Abbey Mill Place comprises a collection of houses and apartments, both converted and newly built, complete with a guest suite and communal lounge. As a mixed tenure development, it will provide housing for over 55s as well as homes created by Beechcroft’s Special Projects’ team with full time residency restricted to the over 16s. In addition, there are also 12 affordable apartments and a care home which will be managed separately. An ELM Group estate manager will be employed full time on-site to look after a total of 57 units.

The second development, Manor Gardens, is located in Shiplake which is just two miles south of Henley-on-Thames. This is an open-market development comprising 24 houses and a play area, as well as 16 affordable homes which are being managed separately. As the developments are freehold, there will be no on-site estate manager, but ELM Group will be responsible for maintaining the front gardens, a play area, and communal grounds.

As part of our longstanding partnership with Beechcroft Developments, we recently took on three other retirement developments including: Longcross Place – an exclusive retirement development in Wallingford; Binfield House – a bespoke collection of elegant contemporary homes in Binfield, Berkshire; and Redclyffe Place – a development of new and converted retirement homes in Harpenden in Hertfordshire.

Simon Goldsmith, Head of Development at ELM Group, said: “We’ve had a relationship with Beechcroft Developments since 2009 which has worked extremely well for all involved, and we’re incredibly proud to be taking on these high-quality estates where we can focus on creating a safe and positive environment for each and every resident.

With 2025 off to a strong start, we look forward to what the rest of the year will bring with many opportunities in the pipeline.

We love the business we are in and are proud to be the leading managing agent chosen by leaseholders and developers.”
