ELM Group Welcomes New Board Members

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Frida Norman, Reyaaz Jacobs and Colin Chapman to the ELM Group Board as we strive to further strengthen our expertise in governance, organisational development, risk management, finance, and strategic leadership.
These appointments are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a strong and diverse Board, bringing together complementary skills and perspectives to support our long-term objectives and continued success. Frida, Reyaaz and Colin will help us to build on our strong reputation as a leading manager of independent living communities and developments, ensuring we remain well positioned to deliver long-term value for our customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
Frida is a charity leader and organisational development specialist who has worked extensively across the UK voluntary sector. She brings significant expertise in organisational development, governance and strategic leadership. She is the founder and director of Driving Change, a consultancy that supports charities and social organisations to develop stronger strategies, cultures and governance systems.
Frida commented: “I am delighted to be joining the ELM Group Board at such an exciting stage in the organisation’s journey. ELM’s commitment to ethical practice, strong governance and delivering positive outcomes for its communities strongly resonates with my own values. I look forward to contributing my experience and supporting the organisation’s future ambitions.”
Joining the Board alongside Frida is Reyaaz Jacobs, a highly experienced risk and assurance professional with more than 25 years’ experience across a wide range of industries. A former Partner at Deloitte, Reyaaz has built and led Technology Risk, Internal Audit, Data Analytics and Risk Management teams during his almost 22 years with Deloitte, advising organisations on governance, risk and resilience.
Reyaaz added: “I am pleased to be joining the ELM Group and supporting the organisation as it continues to evolve and grow. My career has focused on helping organisations strengthen their governance, risk management and assurance frameworks. I look forward to bringing that experience to the Board and contributing to ELM’s long-term success, while learning from fellow Board members, ELM executives and the broader ELM team.”
Also joining Frida and Reyaaz on the Board is Colin Chapman, an experienced board trustee, higher education leader and financial services professional. Colin brings a wealth of expertise spanning strategic leadership, financial management, governance and quality assurance, gained through senior roles in higher education, civil service and financial advisory services. He previously served as Deputy Dean at Aston Business School, where he oversaw academic portfolios, resources, performance management and strategic development across a large and complex organisation.
Colin commented: “I am delighted to be joining the ELM Group Board and contributing to an organisation with such a strong reputation and clear commitment to professionalism and ethical practice. Throughout my career I have worked in leadership, governance and financial management roles, and I look forward to supporting ELM Group as it continues to develop and deliver value for its customers and stakeholders.”
Lorraine Collis, Chief Executive at ELM Group, added: “This announcement comes shortly after we said farewell to longstanding Board Member Pauline Jackson who represented our leaseholder community for four years.
