Mayor of Guildford joins Guildford Sunset Homes Trustees and the ELM Group to celebrate the grand opening of Merrow House, Guildford

The Mayor of Guildford, Marsha Moseley accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, officially opened the newly refurbished Merrow House on Tuesday 14th September.  After cutting the ribbon the mayor spent time chatting with residents of Merrow House over a buffet lunch whilst also enjoying the newly created space.  Our Chairman of Guildford Sunset Homes Board of Trustees is a former Mayor of Guildford.

Guildford Sunset Homes is an independent charitable housing association, providing 87 apartments for rent to older people at Merrow who live in or have connections with Guildford and is managed by ELM Group who have provided a comprehensive management service to Guildford Sunset Homes since 1986.

Merrow House, a Grade II listed property was subject to a major refurbishment program in 2020 to provide an open plan café hub style room with kitchen and seating, a brand-new laundry room, restyling and redecorating of the stunning lounge.
