ELM Group Annual Staff Conference

Every year we dedicate a day together as an organisation meeting offsite in late September/early October reviewing the past year, hearing from a specialist on a particular topic and looking at areas of focus for the upcoming year.

Due to Covid-19 this year we needed to look at a different way of getting together and decided to use Zoom video conferencing and hold online sessions every Wednesday morning throughout October. This year we decided to have a Conference Month.

Wednesday 7th October was our first of the four sessions and with over 90 attendees joining in online and technology working perfectly it was a great start to our Conference Month and the feedback received has been overwhelming.

As the majority of our organisation work remotely on our estates, the staff conference is always a wonderful opportunity to put a face to a name, share best practices and have the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the organisation.

Despite connecting online, the feeling of warmth, enthusiasm and genuine care for our organisation and our leaseholders was abundantly evident and I am looking forward to the next few sessions throughout October.
